I made a painting and some sketches for Rachel Antonoff that she turned into a repeat pattern and hand-stitched embroidery designs for her biological/botanical crossover Fall/Winter ‘15 line. Photos of the finished clothes are from style.com, which also features a review of the collection that says about my contributions–“the "organ garden,” a bewitching mix of vines, blooms, spleens, and hearts that was darkly lovely and notably sophisticated for Antonoff; ditto a simple shift embroidered across the chest with two flower-filled lungs.“

"Bewitching” is the best thing anyone has ever said about anything I’ve ever done.

Rewards include a fine art print of the painting I did of John Brinkley riding a goat across the Mexican border (classier than it sounds, real good for adding a touch of elegance to your home. Maybe best for the bathroom), and all my original drawings from my animation are available. The other animators have some great rewards, too—you can even get your face drawn into the movie, or your name on a shop on Main Street in Milford, Kansas.

I never got the constellations to glow, because the only night I was in the lot things ended before it was completely dark and so I didn’t charge them up with a light. The flash shows off the psychotic, invisible, fishing line structure I built to support the tape stars, though. De-installing later this week. What do I do with a 12'x15’ swath of the sky?

Spending all my weekends hanging out with a cat in a vacant lot in Bushwick, stringing fishing line between two buildings, 12’ up. It’s been an exercise in patience. Today, I start installing constellations.
