Wire skeletons for a pigeon and a rat, part of my pieces for Away From the Numbers, a group show opening November 1st at Bunnycutlet Gallery in Williamsburg. These are life-sized (based on my memory of how big things are…)
Moths. Pre-paint.
Thanks to everyone who made it out last night to the Old Wives’ Lies opening reception! We polished off twice the gallery’s usual wine ration in under two hours, so I guess that means it was a success. For everyone who couldn’t make it, the show is open daily until November 3rd.

I’m curating a group show that opens September 13th in Williamsburg, I’m starting on a couple new pieces for it now. Here’s the start of a hanging sculpture titled “Revive the Dead.” There’s a good chance I’ll ruin it when I start to paint it, but at least there’s some record of the fact that I went so far as to make quills out of copper wire.
4" long. Aluminum and copper wire, paper, glue.
